Please report your experiences with these new features.
Starting from the top as if I don't know anything about it, which I kind of don't! (There has been so much activity in this area I'm not sure where to begin.)
Go to http://leoeditor.com/
- look for AsciiDoc in Documentation table of contents --> nope
- Search for "asciidoc" and "adoc" using both Google search from root and Quick Search from docs page --> no results
- Try 'index' from top right and go to "A" --> nope. Ditto for 'glossary'.
NB: this part is poking at generally known-issues about Leo ages old split between html documentation and within-Leo docs. The issues aren't specific to asciidoc. The same applies to the next section.
Run Leo
- Menu: Help >> Open help topics >> Help --> initially thought nothing happened. After repeating a couple times noticed it showed up in Render pane, which was very small and squished under log panes
- Menu: Help >> Open help topics >> Help for command --> some more confusion. I was dutifully watching Render pane now, which helpfully says "type the name of the command" but I can't see a cursor.
- I type some characters, "asc" but Render doesn't change. I finally notice the insertion point is in the Minibuffer at the bottom. I press "tab", a "Completion" pane opens but is empty. Still nothing in Render pane. I press "esc" to reset and try again:
- Press F11: now that Completion panel is open there is immediate feedback on every character typed, and after reading some I spot "adoc"; complete it and press "enter" --> Paydirt!
